Some people just mentioned that they'll soon have a look at my website, and I'm about to send some mails to new people so they'll probably take a look... So I thought I'd try and put something here quick to give a better impression of myself than most of the rest of the stuff here. Better as in more complete. Maybe :-) To know some things about me you have to be willing to ask.
![]() A few things have changed since I last wrote something sufficently self glorifying here, so I'm having another go while I'm procrastinating. So, using my old text as a prompt; I was vegetarian, I'm now vegan. An ethical vegan I suppose, just as I was an ethical vegetarian. Not that I'm deciding my dietary demands purely on ethical terms, much of it is todo with selfishly demanding a good future for myself and a decent ecosystem to live in, both for me and my little me's. Next I talked about my hair. It's long. I mentioned something along the lines of being annoyed at people who instinctively claim "Cut your hair" or "Get a hair cut". They don't really know what they mean, or they would be clearer. Do they want me to go back to the salon, and tell my hairdresser where she can stick her stupid good for nothing training ? To continue on the whole hair thing, I'm not totally happy with it yet. I've got used to tying it back, which I hate doing. Damn. Then I suggested dance music rules. Other stuff that rules is (let's see...) Human League, Fountains of Wayne, Garbage, Radio Iodine, Marilyn Manson, Pitchshifter, Joan Osborne, Bloodhound Gang, Feeder, Alishas Attic, Meg Lee Chin, Roxette, They Might be Giants, Alice in Chains, Ash, Blink182, Coal Chamber, Green Day, Hole, James, Kittie, Kinky Boot Beast, Kula Shaker, Mansun, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Nada Surf, Placebo, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, The Offspring, The Cranberries, I better stop. Commercialisation and Monopolies suck. Patent Law sucks. Trying to control cryptography is really, really stupid. My front lawn needs cutting. I'm into animal rights, tree rights, hippopotamus rights and all that hippy student stuff. Thinking about it, it's not very often you find a hippy student into tree rights anymore; or maybe they are all hiding from me. I like to say I'm willing to learn about anything before I dismiss it, because that makes me look good. I'm not a mathematician. I thought I could cope with it, but try doing a degree and struggle with the sneaky bits of maths they put in to see how that changes things. Whereas philosophy is much cooler. I just don't get to do any that I'm marked on. And I ended with; I'm starting to tire of people who are not willing to learn. I have nothing against stupid people to start with, but they should try to not be stupid. I fail to understand those who do not want to improve the way they do things when there are obvious and accepted problems with the method, and there are alternatives to take. Cool, no ? I hope all this paints roughly the right picture. Oh, and I like it when people send me messages. Hit reload. See images change. |
