What I do
I used to sign all outgoing mail, but don't anymore unless I know the person receiving can deal with it :-(
If I have been mailed your PGP/GPG key I will use it automatically, PGP/GPG is integrated into my mailer, Mutt. However, some other people use less-able mailers, and using PGP is cumbersome for them. If this is you, change your mailer.
And finally...
If you can't do PGP/GPG *easily*, just get a better client ! You'll thank yourself for it, as having a good email program really is A Good Thing (for more reasons that just security). Why bother using PGP sigs ? For one, it is REALLY easy to spoof email. I mean, REALLY easy. Using PGP/GPG isn't paranoia, it's just the common sense and obvious thing to do... you should be asking "Why shouldn't I use PGP or GPG?" instead of "Why should I ?".
My Keys
My keys are stored at the key server at MIT.
If you use Emacs don't forget that you could view the key, and copy/paste into a buffer. Then use M-x mc-snarf-key. If you have mailcrypt :-)
