My new Palm TX

Bad points

• Crashes more often
• You can't press 'down' to get more information during dialing up anymore
• Lost some Contacts categories
• Used the same RecID twice in Tasks
• Isn't obvious how to tell it to use Wifi vs. BT when it opens a network connection by itself
• On button is too hard to press
• Graffiti is slower (but at least it doesn't write a char, then remove it again when you do two-stroke letters)
• No home button on the status bar!
• If a new dialog appears with hilighted text, just writing does NOT overwrite it like it would on the T3... You have to click anyway
• It won't send packets over BT networking to my Samsung Z500, for no obvious reason! Settings all the same as the T3; appears to work the same, just doesn't actually send anything.
• Every now and then it just pauses for a bit
• It appears on the USB bus as soon as you plug it in, for some reason.
• Had to buy a new cradle
• No way to know if it is charging easily
• No vibrate

I'm going to use my one (!) free tech support incident to try and solve the BT to Z500 problem...

Network settings dialog is buggy

It doesn't save your changes to the last line all the time. Later, I found that it does if you click 'End' and pick 'End' again, before leaving the dialog.

Bluetooth GPRS is faulty

To my Samsung Z500, Palm TX bluetooth GPRS doesn't work even with exactly the same settings as the Palm T3
